About
Known affectionately as Maggie, she has been a vital part of Freedom Behavioral Health since 2019 and has ascended to the role of Clinical Director since 2021. With a wealth of clinical experience, Maggie has been dedicated to working with the Criminal Justice population from the start of her career in 2016.
Maggie’s deep passion for supporting individuals struggling with addiction is rooted in her personal journey, boasting over 16 years of recovery herself. She views her work as a way to give back, helping those who are sick and suffering and offering hope to those who feel trapped by addiction. Maggie firmly believes in the potential of every individual to succeed and provides the support necessary to show them that their lives matter.
Holding a Master’s Degree in Addiction Studies, Maggie also possesses the credentials to supervise and mentor interns new to the field, offering seasoned guidance to those committed to being part of the solution. Her professional affiliations include membership in the American Psychological Association, NAADAC (the Association for Addiction Professionals), and Psi Chi, the international honor society in Psychology.
Currently, Maggie is pursuing a Doctorate in Developmental Psychology, with plans to apply her advanced knowledge to her work in the addiction field. Maggie’s dedication, expertise, and personal insight make her an invaluable asset to Freedom Behavioral Health and a beacon of hope for those seeking recovery.
