About

Cat has been a Substance Use Counselor with Freedom House Behavioral Health since
October 2021. A Las Vegas native, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from
NSU, specializing in Addiction Studies, Criminal Justice, and Child Development.
Inspired by her experiences with interpersonal addiction struggles among family and
friends, Cat was driven to become part of the solution and help others navigate
recovery. Her approach integrates evidence-based practices with life experience-
informed assistance, allowing her to empathize with clients. She is dedicated to
supporting clients in overcoming addiction, navigating reentry after incarceration, and
transitioning from unsheltered circumstances to stability, empowering them to build
meaningful, sustainable lives.
